About the Tourism Subcommittee

Inception / history

The Tourism Committee was formed to provide community insight and guidance for the Local Area Spatial Development Framework related to Tourism, with consideration to the CoCT’s Tourism Development Framework. The focus areas include promoting local attractions, barriers to tourism and infrastructural improvements. One example of an initiative underway is to provide additional facilities for ocean safety and windsports

The CDPI [Community-Driven Planning Initiative] is our best chance of influencing how the project area including erf1117 and our beachfront gets developed. Please help us see this through to completion by making a contribution to the BSA.
